You don’t know me and I don’t know you but that is beside the point.
I am not usually one to discover things but I do know that some of you use the Co. Vu domain for your blogs. Apparently the domain itself has a suspicious rating under the rating app ‘web of trust’ for reason of phishing. If you are connected to the domain then your blog will also pose a similar threat to both you and people who visit your blog.
It would most likely be wise to disconnect immediately. If you’re truly concerned that a URL that is provided for free has provided you any malware or otherwise, install Malware Bytes. Have it run through your system.
PUP = Potentially Unwanted Program , but it’s usually better just to quarantine everything it brings up.
Also, check what you think phishing is.
To quote the Wikipedia page you linked: “it often directs users to enter details at a fake website whose look and feel are almost identical to the legitimate on”.
Phishing requires users to actively enter information. Read the stuff you’re sourcing before you make virus scare posts.
Looking more into the possible correlation between the .co.vu and fishing, I have found this on the main website tumblr users use for their custom domains.
What if I find some of the .co.vu domains are spreading malware/phishing or serving inappropriate contents? Please Report It To Us. We will review it and take necessary steps to stop it
(i did some editing to improve the grammar and clarity of what was said. This is nearly identical to what is said on the website itself.)
Yes, .co.vu has a suspicious rating. This is because people who do phish like it - it’s used legitimately as well as illegitimately; it’s a free domain, who isn’t going to take advantage of that? Domain names can be anything from around £20, last I looked.
If you’ve got the .co.vu domain and you’re worried, check your code for anything that seems out of place. These could be redirect based things or scripts - there is one script in tumblr code that is for the follow and dashboard buttons in the top right corner. So there should only be two “script” if you do a search.

TL;DR — the co.vu domain name does not fucking phish. it does nothing but provide a custom domain that is free. Phishing requires a precise duplication of forms and website design to fool the user that they are viewing the legitimate website. Phishing isn’t a virus, but rather social engineered hacking - users think they are on the actual website and so provide the person behind the phishing net the various details required to get a hold of whatever information they are collecting.
